The election for the office bearers and the members of the executive committee of the cine directors association will be held on 19.6.2011. For the first time, 12 persons from among co,associate,assistant directors are contesting for the 12 posts of executive committee members in the style of "PUTHIYA ALAIGAL".
In a meeting held at musician union near,kamala theatre, vadapalani, chennai on 11.6.2011; all the above mentioned 12 candidates were introduced. the candidates explained their programmes & plans for the improvements of the working candidates and the life style of the members. the enthusiasam,solidarity and support of the members present were visible. which showed the success of the candidates in the election.
about 700 members were present at the meeting.
